Installation note - Display replacement Google Pixel 7 Pro

The Google Pixel 7 Pro device has fine metal clips under the display unit, which can bend when the old display unit is removed and sometimes protrude vertically.

These clips must be moved to their original position before installing the new display unit to prevent damage to the new display unit.

Damage to the new display unit manifests itself in the form of indentations and dents on the flex and the resulting stripes on the OLED display.
