Installation Note – Display Replacement Google Pixel 7 Pro
The Google Pixel 7 Pro has fine metal clips beneath the display unit that may bend and stand upright when removing the old display unit.
These clips must be bent back into their original position before installing the new display unit to avoid damage to the new part.
Typical damage pattern if clips are not aligned correctly: Indentations and dents on the flex cable, resulting in stripes on the OLED display.
- red marked: risk of damage !!!
- green marked: correct
Recommendation: For installation, please use the manufacturer’s original display adhesive film for Google Pixel 7 Pro.
